Snow Top Village Travel Guide (Part 1)

Location and Geography: Located to the west of the Badlands, Snow Top Village is a multi-tiered glacial hamlet, nestled amid rugged snow-capped mountains. 

Climate: Arctic to sub arctic, with cool summers and cold winters.

Population: Inhabited by the arthropod Snow Top Tribe.

History: In centuries past, the Snow Top Tribe was a nomadic clan. During the Great War, however, the wandering tribe became vulnerable to Troll attack, and decided to settle in one place away from the endless fighting. The members pushed west until they came upon the frozen peaks that are now Snow Top Village. Snow Top Village was an unlikely place to call home, but the tribe believed it would be out of harm’s reach, and they managed to create a thriving community in the frozen peaks and trees. Since Thorn’s reanimation by Kalus, the tribe has come to realize they are once again under threat.

Overview: Reachable only by ice pick, Snow Top Village is no run-of-the-mill Winter Wonderland. Stunning, sweeping vistas greet you when you arrive, but the dangerous drop-offs and narrow pathways make for some treacherous traveling. You’ll need your wits about you, as well as the help of the locals and your trusty Elemental Warriors to take advantage of all this beautiful, frosty land has to offer.

A note of caution: Some of the more unsavory inhabitants you may encounter include Ice Trolls and ice beetles, and a few irritating children here and there who may be inclined to peg you with a snowball. Avoid the children, but pre-empt the others by initiating your own attack.

Getting around: All elevated platforms and no elevators, Snow Top Village can make getting around tricky. Make sure you choose the right Elemental Warrior for the job—at these heights, there is no margin for error!
