Forgotten Forest Glade Travel Guide (Part 1)

Location & Geography: The Forgotten Forest Glade lies east of the Badlands. Largely shaded by the surrounding trees, the glade is a well-insulated clearing that provides gateways to the Ogre’s Swamp, Mushroom Cavern, and densely wooded Forgotten Forest.

Climate: Temperate, and frequently overcast. Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year.

Population Details: Forgotten Forest Glade is home to a small community known as the Forgotten Forest Glade tribe, whose members are sentient evolutions of local flora.

History: A self-sufficient community built on farming and trade, Forgotten Forest Glade has been home to the Forgotten Forest Glade tribe for centuries. The village’s surrounding rocks and trees served as a natural barricade which protected the area during the Great War, leaving the glade’s way of life largely untouched. While the tribe has continued about its daily work through the current war seemingly unfazed, the effect of Kalus’s magic has left even the glade vulnerable to encroaching Trolls, and the residents fearful for the future of their historic village.

Overview: Surrounded by trees and rock, Forgotten Forest Glade is awash in yellow, green, and orange hues, giving this sylvan community an eternally autumnal aura. Hidden treasures can be found in many of the plentiful pumpkins lying about the tall grass, so don’t be afraid to knock them around. Be on the lookout for fruit and pick plants, too. The locals are quite friendly and eager to chat; take advantage of their hospitable nature, and you might learn—or earn—a thing or two!

Getting Around: Forgotten Forest Glade takes up a small area, so it’s easily navigable on foot. Surrounding areas require Elemental Warriors.
