Ortho's Guide to the Crystal Eyes
There are four Crystal Eyes in the game, all of which can be found in the Enchanted Kingdom. However, acquiring each Crystal Eye in the game requires the abilities of one or more Elemental Warrior, so you won’t be able to get them all right away.
Each Crystal Eye must be assigned in the Wotnot Book to become active.
How To Assign a Crystal Eye:
- Press Start to open the Wotnot Book.
- Press the Right trigger twice.
- Select the Eye you wish to assign with the Left trigger and press the A button.
- Select Assign and press the A button.

Eye of Restoration
Location: Underneath a shell along the beach in the Enchanted Kingdom
Effect: Kameo regenerates health slowly over time. Her Spirit, however, will not regenerate as quickly.
How to Get it: Use Pummel Weed’s Uprooter attack to flip over the shell.
| Tip: Only one Crystal Eye may be in use (assigned) at any time. Don’t automatically assign every Crystal Eye once you acquire it. Select which Eye to assign according to your style of play, and the challenges you’re currently facing in the game. |
Eye of Spirit
Location: The top of the icy Ancient tower (the frozen area just off the Throne Room).
Effect: Increases the rate at which Spirit is regenerated, but it decreases your resistance to damage and the damage you deal to enemies.
How to Get it: You need to have Chilla and Major Ruin. You’ll need to use Major Ruin to get up the ramps, then use Chilla to climb the walls until you reach the platform at the top of the tower where the eye resides.
Eye of Protection
Location: The Dungeon of Eternal Life.
Effect: Increases your resistance to damage, but decreases the damage you deal to enemies.
How to Get it: You will need to use Pummel Weed (to get into the Dungeon) and Ash. Go into the Dungeon of Eternal Life and head to the left. Light two dragon heads to open up a door. The Eye resides on a small pedestal beyond the door.
Eye of Strength
Location: The statue of Thorn in the Hall of Portraits.
Effect: Your attacks will deal more damage, but your defense will be lowered and you will take more damage from attacks.
How to Get it: Use Thermite’s Mortar attack to destroy the statue.
