Dragons are hot; everyone knows that. Everyone also knows that dragons are dangerous, breathe fire, and love the taste of trolls—especially the charbroiled ones. When Kameo finds Ash, she’ll get the chance to do some real troll-burning, and Ash-kicking.
Ash has got firepower (literally) to spare. Although his attacks aren’t as varied as some of the other Elemental Warriors, they can dish out a lot of damage. Ash has both a long range attack and a short range blast of fire perfect for roasting swarms of trolls at close range. Ash can also heal himself and barbecue a troll at the same time with the Incinerator technique.
Basic Techniques
- Fire Blaze (LT+left stick)
Fire Blaze blasts a short-range cone of fire in front of Ash. Use the left stick to control the direction of the blaze.
- Fire Blast (RT)
This attack shoots a single, rolling fireball directly in front of Ash. This fireball will continue to roll, even rolling up along walls, until it hits an enemy, dissipates, or lights a torch.

Advanced Techniques
- Inferno (LT+left stick)
This upgrade replaces Fire Blaze but is essentially the same attack with longer range.
- Wildfire (RT)
Wildfire replaces Fire Blast with a three pronged fireball attack with improved range. The fireballs spread out from Ash and may strike multiple enemies or inflict triple damage against a single opponent.
- Incinerator (LT+RT)
Incinerator creates a ring of fire around Ash, which erupts into a fiery tornado a few seconds later. This tornado can kill enemies in a single blast, scoring a Brutal Bonus. The tornado also heals Ash if he stands at the center of it while it is burning.
- Spirit Up
This increases Ash’s Spirit Bar.
